Join our Young Energetic Seniors (YES) group for a special guided tour of Cockeyed Farms in Folsom, a unique local farm known for its American elderberry orchard, blueberries, and apiary.

During this one-hour experience, guests will explore the farm’s 2,500-tree elderberry orchard, 600-bush blueberry orchard, and learn about the farm’s beekeeping and bottling operations. The owner will share his inspiring journey from serving as a Scout Attack Helicopter Pilot to becoming a family farmer, and how his personal health journey led him to discover the many benefits of American elderberries.

Participants will also learn about the farm’s growing processes and the health benefits of elderberries, followed by a tasting of creamed honey and a refreshing elderberry beverage produced on site.

While the tour is free for both members and non-members, the farm kindly asks visitors to consider supporting their business by purchasing items from their product line, which typically range from $12–$25.

After the tour, attendees may join the group for lunch at Giddy Up in Folsom.
