All group exercise classes are designed for everyone to enjoy, no matter your fitness level. Our instructors will offer modifications to assist you in getting the most out of any class. PAC features one of the strongest and most complete group exercise programs in the area. We bring professional training and passion for your fitness goals.

This is a group strength training class set to music using plate-loaded barbells. This 60-minute workout will give you the results you want.
This is an one hour intense and challenging HIIT workout proven to burn calories while using weights, bands, etc. Come and ramp up your metabolism, ignite your energy and reach for “The Red Zone”.
An empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This energetic program is inspired by mixed martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi, and muay thai.

This class focuses on the alignment, flexibility, and recognizes that one size does not fit all. Modifications will be given to students to link poses and sequenced ranging from gentle to advanced based on individual abilities. (Meets in GYM)

A full body workout designed for participants wanting to do resistance training in a group fitness setting. This class can be modified to fit and challenge any fitness level.
Come for a high energy cardio class set to music both past and present! You will sweat while you swing dance, feel heart pumping hip hop and strengthen through a salsa. Moves are fun and repetitive.
This class will build, strengthen, and tighten each major muscle group by using dumbbells, stability ball, barbells, body bars, body weight, bosou, and bands. Beginner or advanced.
KettleFit is a cardio class utilizing kettlebell for a fun and effective full body workout. This 60-minute class offers resistance training to sculpt and tone your entire body while providing high energy cardio benefits.
This class is for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. The design of the class introduces easy to follow Zumba.
Zumba fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. The goal is simple: we want you to want to work out, to love it and get hooked!
KettleFit offers the same benefits as the KettleFit class in an express 30 minute timeframe.
Mind Body Studio
Pelican Athletic Club’s Mind Body Studio offers a variety of classes with something for everyone, no matter where you are in your journey for a healthier lifestyle. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to take your workout to the next level, our instructors will provide the workout your body needs!
This class focuses on the alignment, flexibility, and recognizes that one size does not fit all. Modifications will be given to students to link poses and sequenced ranging from gentle to advanced based on individual abilities.
Begin your yoga practice with a solid foundation. This class focuses on the development of core strength, alignment, balance, postures, and breathing techniques that gradually build flexibility and strength. Geared towards mature adults, students who have fibromyalgia, joint problems, and post-surgical issues.
This class accommodates mixed levels of students by incorporating various types of yoga techniques. Friendly to all fitness levels and perfect for anyone looking to improve their strength, flexibility and balance.
A 90 minute class with emphasis on movement, balance and intention. Class focuses on engaging your core strength to support more advanced postures. The last 30 minutes of class will include inversions and arm balance that assist in detoxing the body and exhilarating the mind. This class is not recommended for beginner students.
Class begins with a slow flow to warm the body, open the joints, and deepen the breath. Restorative poses with props are then integrated and held for 3 to 5 minutes. This is great preventative work for athletes who do intense training .
Practice holding yoga poses, engaging in power flow and using breathing exercises designed to detoxify the body in a heated room. Be prepared to sweat! Hot Yoga is not advised for beginner students or students with health concerns.
A Pilates based workout focusing on total body conditioning fused with isometric body sculpting exercises.
This all-levels class is an invigorating vinyasa flow that will empower and transform your body, mind, and spirit. Learn to go with the flow, find your edge, and practice at your own level. The room is heated from 85 to 90 degrees.
PIYO combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of Yoga. And, we crank up the speed to deliver a true fat-burning, low-impact workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and incredibly defined.
Incorporating Pure Pilates techniques, this class expands to include the use of bands, hand weights and balls for a comprehensive sculpting session.
This class integrates both STRENGTH and ENDURANCE throughout your workout. You will alternate between exercises that demand intense strength, energy, and deep stretches, allowing your muscles to become longer and leaner utilizing the ballet bar and mat.
Combine fun w/fitness to increase cardiovascular & muscular endurance in our Circuit Studio.
This class is a variety of total body conditioning that involves both strength and cardio exercise. A high energy workout designed to promote strength, cardiovascular endurance, lean muscle growth, and excess fat loss. It is suited for a beginner to a fitness fanatic as you set your own bar for how hard you want to push!
An hour of high-intensity training using rowers weights, and cardio drills in the Performance Center. This class will challenge and push you to your limit. Fun and Fast Paced
This class combines cardio intervals on rowing machines with dynamic sculpting exercises. This perfect balance of cardio and strength training that will keep your heart pumping. New to rowing? No problem, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
A high energy class alternating strength and cardio to maximize the most efficient workout. Focus on fun, technique, core, and improve your body’s metabolism. This class is great for Baby Boomers!
This total body workout combines cardiovascular, strength, and endurance in one exercise session.

You will complete a full body training session alternating from cardio to strength to endurance in the water. Challenge your strength and cardio with this high-intensity water class.
Runners cross-train in the pool while minimizing injury risk. This challenging program combines tethered sprinting with interval training. Explosive plyometric drills complete this innovative, calorie-burning class. (Express class is a 30-minute version).
When you’re looking for an intense workout to get your heart pumping, indoor cycling surely fits the bill. Whether you’re a purist or like to combine your ride with yoga or strength training, our cycling scene has something for you. So grab your shoes and plenty of water, and get pedaling!
This class is an amazing cardio workout that leads you to pedal your way through a variety of resistance hills, climbs, and intervals combined with resistance training to build strength. Participants will work on and off the bike using a variety of equipment.
Get your heart pumping while you pedal through hill climbs, sprints, and many other challenging drills and exercises. Each trip will be different rides including strength, endurance intervals and race day. Participants can modify the bike’s resistance to meet their own personal workout/training needs. All levels are welcome.
Burn calories and boost your metabolism alternating between high-intensity workouts with short resting periods. These intervals will improve overall cardio health and endurance.

We have a team of experienced, certified, responsible, enthusiastic personal trainers who have expertise in strength training, cardiovascular training, nutrition, flexibility, post-rehabilitation and other areas in general fitness. Our Personal Trainers are passionate about fitness and love helping people achieve their fitness goals.

Pelican Athletic Club Specialty Fitness Classes are more extensive and progressive in nature than the Group Exercise Classes and are instructed by certified personal trainers.
Members must sign up for Specialty Fitness Classes through their online account or through the PAC APP. World Class professional trainer Esteban Garcia will teach professional boxing and self-defense techniques in this uniquely tailored workout. This advanced endorphin-producing, cardio packed workout will not only tone and condition every muscle in your body … but it will also increase your metabolic rate while you burn fat and reduce stress!
Pelican CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program for not only athletes but for all fitness levels. Regardless of your fitness level, your personalized trainer will help you meet your goals without feeling overwhelmed or out of the loop.
Pelican Athletic Club’s metabolic Burn & Build class utilizing body weight exercises, free weights, kettlebells, suspension training, medicine balls and other equipment to help the body increase both short and long-term metabolic rate.
Endurance Edge is a unique cross-training program combining swimming, running and cycling. The program is run by some of Louisiana’s most elite athletes and coaches.
Pass Varsity: 9th through 12th grade
A detailed Athletic Training Program tailored to the individual athlete’s specific sport. The program goes through 4-week cycles that are designed to increase the athletes abilities in the areas of: Power, Agility, Strength, Speed. The athlete can expect to participate in Weightlifting, Flexibility Training, Balance Training, Linear speed training and Multi-directional speed training. It is recommended that the Athlete signs up for the 3-month option as this option will expose the athlete to all of the various types of training.
Pass J.V: 6th– 8th
This program is designed to familiarize and increase the athlete’s abilities in Weightlifting Technique, Linear Speed Technique, Multi-directional Speed Training, and Balance Training. The athlete will also work on their level of fitness through various means of cardio conditioning. If the athlete commits to this program, they will be comfortable and knowledgeable in the weight room by the time they reach High School.
Pass Kids 3rd-5th
This program is designed to familiarize young athletes with athletic movement. No weightlifting here. Balance Training, Functional Movement Technique and Bodyweight Training will be taught through various means. Can expect to learn how to move like an athlete.
Our Senior Program offers something to people of all fitness levels and varied health conditions.
